About Pawz With Us
We are Steve and Judy Thurmon, proud owners' of Pawz with Us, a family run Feline Hotel / Resort. We believe that we are beyond what you may have thought was available to you and your cat when you want to ensure proper care and safety for him or her while you are away on vacation or business.
Judy and I saw the need for a facility devoted to cats exclusively so that they can have the special attention and ameneties they deserve to keep them feeling happy, healthy, mentally stimulated and exercised by having fun. When they are free of hearing barking dogs, and realize that this is a place where they can feel comfortable and safe, they relax and enjoy their time at our Hotel / Resort until you return to be reunited with them.

We may not worship them, but they will feel like they've been treated as royalty by us.
Luxury Cat Boarding
You might think you'd pay more for all the amenities, the playground, the climbing features, the waterfalls for relaxation, a 2nd story viewing veranda, cat walks , a wall-mounted 42" L.C.D. flatscreen t.v., viewable by all cats in our facility, or the Fantasy Forest and Paradise Island, and the list goes on. But no you don't have to pay more than most facilities that aren't exclusively for cats and do not have the ameneties that we offer for your cat's enjoyment, exercise and sense of well-being while you're away.
Multiple Cats Discount
We also offer a discount for more than one cat boarding, and/or at 14 days a discount is given and the discount increases progressively with longer stays. In addition we offer 19 years experience as a husband and wife team taking care of cats. And, we are also members of Pet Care Services Association (formerly American Boarding Kennel Association) and adhere to their strict code of ethics and guidelines for doing business in the pet care industry.
Please call for an appointment to tour or board at our facility. We pledge the following to you:
- Your cat will have a clean well-supervised and mind-stimulating place to stay while your away. Our facility is upstairs in our home, so you don't have to be worried about your cat being left in an empty building overnight, we are there with them if they should need anything.
- Fresh air is circulated throughout the facility continuously.
- Dedicated central air/heat, a seperate unit just for the cats environment.
- Cats are checked and condos and litter boxes are cleaned frequently.
- Filtered water is changed twice or more a day as needed.
- Lot's of petting if they like it, praising, exercise, play time, cat dvds, toys, soothing classical and other music and just plain fun for every cat in our facility.
